Welcome! The Mass Bay Sailing Association was founded to preserve and promote the sport of sailing in Eastern Massachusetts. Together with Yacht Clubs and sailors up and down the coast of Massachusetts Bay, we’ve been organizing and promoting regattas and events on and off the water since 1949.

Massachusetts Bay

Massachusetts Bay is an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean located on the eastern coast of Massachusetts, extending from Cape Ann to Cape Cod. The area around Massachusetts Bay was the location of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, an English settlement established in the 17th century. Home to dozens of Yacht Clubs and hundreds of boaters, the area continues to be a significant part of Massachusetts’ geography and history, with the bay itself being a vital part of the state’s coastal ecosystem.
